HISTORY!!!
The annual High Point Trophy was won by Llama Mountain Rescue. This is the 2nd time they've won it 3 consecutive years!! CONGRATULATIONS!

The Wilderness Rescue Competition began in October of 1978 to provide an arena for training and competition in technical rope rescue and wilderness EMS. Thirty-two successful events have been hosted since then! In 1994, a core group of participants formed TRC, Inc. to ensure that this important aspect of EMS and technical rescue would continue into the future.
The Competition is held annually the weekend BEFORE "Columbus Day" in October at Garner State Park. Over the years, the Garner staff has been invaluable in their support. We encourage everyone to bring their family and enjoy this beautiful facility. Park information may be obtained at:

It is HIGHLY recommended to make your park reservations early (by State rules, the earliest you may make reservations is 333 days before the date of your reservation which is approximately Nov 6), especially if you wish to stay in a cabin, shelter or a campsite in the "Old Garner" area during the competition as this is always a busy weekend for the park!
